Director of spiritual Formation and Student Care

Sajanth Mohan is a dedicated Christian leader, ordained minister, and respected community advocate based in the Greater Toronto Area. He is deeply committed to mentoring and equipping individuals in faith, leadership, and service, with a passion for developing the next generation of leaders.

Holding a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson University with a focus on management and marketing, Sajanth brings extensive experience in marketing, strategic business development, and organizational development. He has helped churches and nonprofits expand their vision and strengthen their impact in the community.

Alongside his ministry and community work, Sajanth has been actively involved in the political space, using his platform to influence public life and engage with leaders at all levels of government. His work reflects a deep commitment to bridging faith and civic responsibility for the betterment of society.

SOPHIE DUAN

Director of operations

Bringing a commitment to compassionate care from her years as a medical doctor, Sophie Duan has been responsible for creating the culture of FH FAMILY at Future Hope Education for the past eight years. She cultivates an environment of care, empowerment, joy, creativity, integrity, and leadership, and truly makes school a home away from home. She has studied biblical theology and is a regular participant in her Bible Study group. Sophie brings two decades of business experience in administration, marketing, public relations, human resource, non-profit and coaching to FH operations.

Tim KEUNG

VP of OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, Board of Directors

Tim is a dynamic leader whose career spans psychology, real estate, entrepreneurship an business development.  With a background in organizational psychology from the London School of Economics, he worked with Fortune 500 companies globally before transitioning into real estate, where he now leads the TimSold Real Estate Team. As a Board Director for the Markham Board of Trade, Tim is committed to fostering business growth and education in the GTA region. His philanthropic efforts include supporting SickKids Hospital and local community and religious organizations. A dedicated family man, Tim balances his professional success with a passion for giving back.

Earl JameS

DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & FH Sports Centre

Earl James is the Director of FH Sports Centre and a key member of the Business Development team at FH International High School. With a keen eye for community engagement, Earl works tirelessly to maximize the impact of the school’s facilities for the benefit of the local community. He brings over 15 years of extensive experience in business development and management, having founded various successful enterprises. Renowned for his team-building skills and his ability to advance visions with excellence, Earl continues to drive forward initiatives that foster community growth and engagement. His leadership and innovative approach make him an invaluable asset to FH Academy and the broader community it serves.

Joel LAZArus

Joel Lazarus is committed to fostering a Christ-centered educational environment at Future Hope Christian Academy that nurtures both academic and spiritual growth. With over 25 years of global ministry experience, Joel brings a heart for the gospel and a vision to guide the next generation. He is also an evangelist, children’s author, and founder of Joel Lazarus Ministries. In addition to his work at the Academy, Joel is a devoted husband and father, balancing his ministry with running Versed Creations, a custom apparel business.

Lynn Gomez

Business Teacher

After graduating from the University of Western Sydney, Australia, Lynn has been teaching Business and Social Sciences for the past 8 years to various grade levels. As a teacher she feels she is not only responsible for imparting knowledge to students, but also for aiding in the development of their attitudes and personalities. She likes to keep every class student-friendly, encouraging lively participation and discussion.

Lara Cerqueira

English Teacher

Holding a double major in English and Portuguese, Lara has eight years of experience teaching English as a second language. She is passionate about education, literature and language. Throughout her career, she has honed her skills in classroom management, collaboration, and fostering positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. Administrative tasks have also been part of her professional path and play a huge role in her adept management of organizational operations and processes.

Jeffery Yang

Science Teacher

With a PhD in Physics, Jeffrey has been  applying his extensive experience solving real environmental issues in teaching Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at all levels. He loves teaching and is passionate about extending education beyond the classroom into his students’ future development.

Yaroslav STROYAN

English Teacher

Holding a master’s degree of Translation and Interpretation and passionate about helping students build linguistic confidence and fostering cross-cultural awareness, empowering them to thrive in our globalized world, Yaroslav has been teaching English in Canada, Hong Kong, and China for over a decade.

Yaroslav believes that personalized support and encouragement are key to unlocking each student’s potential and fostering their love for the English language and communication. His unique teaching inspires students to embrace English not only as a language, but also as a gateway to understanding and connecting with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Maggie Dai

Mathematics & Science Teacher

Having graduated from the University of Waterloo with excellent academic standing, Maggie is experienced in teaching high school Math courses, including Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors and Mathematical Data Management. Teaching Math is an absolute joy for Maggie, and she relishes helping students achieve their goals. Maggie oversees the Future Hope Online School.

Guidance Counsellor

Graduated from University of Western Ontario with a master’s degree in education, Tina has been dedicated to guiding students toward academic success at Future Hope Education for over 7 years and has supervised an impressive 100% university/college acceptance rate for FH students.

Believing in a balance of authority and trust, Tina also mentors students and fosters confidence, motivation, and a strong sense of direction in them. She always ensures each student reaches their fullest potential.

Julia Zhu

Administrator

With a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in teaching Chinese as a Second Language, Julia is an administrator at Future Hope Academy.

Trilingual in English, Mandarin and German, Charlene is a passionate education consultant. She holds a Bachelor in German Studies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Global Business Management from Centennial College.
