FH on a field trip to High Park

High park is located in the heart of Toronto, renowned for its stunning greenery, nature trails, picturesque lakefront views, and more importantly for its cherry blossom trees. Every spring, at the end of April to early May, the cherry blossom trees that are also known as sakura in Japan, bloom spectacularly in High Park.

Last week, our staff and students went on a thrilling field trip to High Park to watch cherry blossoms. A centuries-old tradition of hanami, which is a Japanese term for flower viewing.

In this field trip, students had an unforgettable experience as they explored the park, hiked through the trails, and learned more about the Sakura trees. The trip was also an excellent opportunity for the students to bond with each other and learn more about the city’s rich culture and history.

Overall, the High Park field trip was an educational and enjoyable experience for all to create unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
